If a Clicky Vicky generation didn't work, here's what happens to the credits it used, and what to do next.
Do I get my credits back automatically if a generation fails?
Yes. If a generation fails, Clicky Vicky refunds the credits automatically. You don't need to ask.
Credits are held when you start a generation rather than spent straight away, and the final amount is only settled once it finishes. If it fails, the hold is released and the credits return to your balance.
There's one exception. If a generation fails after the AI model has already started work, for example when a prompt is rejected by the model's content filters partway through, you're charged only for what was actually used, never the full estimate.
Where can I see if a generation failed?
Go to My Generations and use the Failed filter to see anything that didn't complete.
What if my credits didn't come back?
Give your balance a minute to update, then go to Settings, then Billing. Your credit history there shows exactly what was charged and what was refunded.
If a failed generation still shows a charge after that, contact support with:
A description of what happened
The date it happened
A screenshot of the affected generation
