Understanding Credit Policies in Clicky Vicky
Clicky Vicky runs on credits. This article explains the two types of credits, when they expire, what happens if a generation fails, and how to track your usage.
Types of Credits and Their Expiration
Clicky Vicky has two types of credits, and they work differently.
Plan credits: These come with your subscription and are added at the start of each billing cycle, whether your plan runs for 2, 4 or 8 weeks. They reset at the end of each cycle and don't roll over, so use them before your next renewal. Plan credits also expire if your subscription ends, for example if you cancel or your renewal payment doesn't go through.
Booster credits: These come with the Booster Plan, a one-time add-on you can buy at checkout. It adds extra generation credits and unlocks our highest-quality AI models. Booster credits don't expire and stay usable even if you cancel your subscription.
Top-up credits: These are small credit recharges you can buy any time from your account. Go to Settings, then Billing. Top-up credits don't expire, they stay in your account until you use them.
Note: Your plan credits are used first. Booster credits kick in once your plan credits run out.
What happens to my credits if a generation fails?
Credits are held when a generation starts, not spent upfront. The final amount is only charged once it finishes.
If a generation fails completely, your credits are refunded automatically. You don't need to ask.
If a generation stops partway, contact support. We'll review it, and if possible, we'll refund your credits.
If something was created but came out broken, like a video with missing audio, contact support and we'll look into it.
How to Track Credit Usage
Credits are consumed based on your usage and can be fully used before the subscription period ends. To review your credit activity and usage details, navigate to the Billing section of your account settings. There, you can access your credit history and see where your credits were used.
FAQs on Credit-Related Issues
Why do my credits show as depleted even though my subscription is active? - Credits are used as you create content, so they can run out before your billing cycle ends. To see how they were used, go to Settings, then Billing, and click View credit history. If you need more credits before your next renewal, you can buy a top-up from the same Billing page. Top-ups need an active plan.
Do credits roll over to the next month? -
Plan credits don't roll over. They reset at the end of each billing cycle, so use them before your renewal. Booster credits, bought at checkout, and top-up credits, bought from Settings, then Billing, don't expire. They stay in your account until you use them.
By understanding these credit policies, you can better manage your subscription and ensure you get the most out of Clicky Vicky.
